Dear Friends:

On behalf of the whole parish I welcome you to our new parish web site. I hope it is a help to knowing our parish and the many wonderful people who make it up.

We are a large parish with over 2,700 families. We are diverse with many different ethnic and racial origins. We span all the ages, including two person over 100 years old. We are a better family because you have joined us. Welcome!

Our parish family continues to have the last parish Parochial High School in the whole diocese. But we also have one of the newest Pre-schools recently added to our 111 year old Elementary School. Both have a distinguished history of service to the parish and community. I invite you to check out their web sites as well. In addition, we have a vibrant Religious Education Program that educates 800 students each year. With opportunities for altar serving, cub scouts, boy scouts, daisies, girl scouts and various youth events, a very popular family Mass and so much more, we hope to be a home for the youth of our Church.

Our parish strives to celebrate unity even as we express the great diversity we have in our midst. Our Hispanic Ministry is a vibrant part of our family. Prayer groups, bible study, a weekly charismatic meeting and Mass in Spanish are only some of the expressions of the active and alive Hispanic ministry that blessed our parish.

In it all I hope you will find a home with us. Take the time to settle into the community. Find ways you can become more active. Know that if there is anything any of us can do, please do not hesitate to call. Rest assured of our prayers. May God bless you and your whole family. In His love I remain ...

Yours in Christ,

Fr. Brian McGrath
