Dear Parishioners and Friends of St. Mary’s,

Each time I enter our beloved church I am over-whelmed by its beauty and history.  To think of those first parishioners who funded and built the church in the 1880s is to remember sacrifice and hope.  To marvel at the stained glass is to be reminded of the beauty of God’s light shining through events that changed the world.  To notice a name plate and lift that person or family up in prayer is to remember the personal giving that makes our parish so vibrant and strong.  We have a great gift in our parish church.

This gift is in need of renovation and improvement.  It has been over 20 years since the last time it was painted or refurbished.  Just think what a huge difference it will make to fix the water damaged walls, the pealing paint and the very dated sound.  But the problems run much deeper.  From a complete overhaul of our fire alarm system to the need for proper exits, there are life-safety concerns that require hundreds of thousands to address.  Today is the day to do some-thing amazing for the Lord.

I am asking you to be generous in supporting our Renovations of the Church Capital Campaign.  Your support of prayer and money will help us build not just for the needs of today, but for generations to come.  I know this request means sacrifice. That is why I don’t make it lightly or without several years of study and discussion.  We have a Master Plan whose aim is to preserve the great gift given by our ancestors, grow the community today and build for tomorrow’s parishioners.

Please take a moment to review the following information and prayerfully consider a gift or pledge to our Campaign.  Together we can make this hope a reality.

In Christ,

Fr. Brian McGrath
